The study was carried to assess the trends that have been recorded for the year 2013-2017 for a number of diseases in the county of Vihiga. The objectives of the study were to check the effect of health financing, health workforce and health infrastructure on the different aspects of communicable diseases and maternal health in Vihiga County. The data was collected from the district health information system and focused on Vihiga County. The data was then analyzed using statistical methods and in this case R was used.
